Synopsis
Ben Stratton and Bryony Nightingale. Everybody thought they’d be together forever. But, when Ben leaves the small market town of Castle Clare to travel the world, Bryony is heartbroken, seeing his departure as the ultimate betrayal.
Throwing herself into her work running the much-loved children’s bookshop, Bryony determines to forget Ben and to start dating again. But Ben doesn’t make it easy for her, sending her postcards filled with his love and posting her foreign editions of all the great romantic novels from the countries he’s travelling through.
Then, after six long years, the unexpected happens and Ben returns, determined to win Bryony back. But will she forgive him and does he have the courage to tell her the truth about why he left her?

My Review
“Natural Born Readers” is the third book in the series and we, yet again, follow Victoria Connelly’s amazing world, and the amazing Nightingale family.
This story is about Bryony Nightingale and Ben Stratton. It’s a second change romance, and to be honest those are one of my favorite tropes. After six years, Ben returns to town wanting to get Bryony back, and what will happen, you will have to read to see, because I don’t give spoilers. Nevertheless, I love to read their moments together, it was quite fun and interesting.
It was definitely another warm story about another memory of a family full of book lovers. I was so focus on the story, on the emotional it had in each scene, that I was transported completely. I felt as if I was a part of this family, just one more time, because as soon as I was reading, it was like I was back home.
Just like in the previous novels, I loved the characters interactions, they made everything so much real. Friendship, family, lovers… We get to experience the moments page after page, even following a particular funny and extra episode around Flo. Each scene meant to catch our curiosity and get us to connect with characters and emotions.
Overall, I enjoyed this book and I think it may be my favorite one, alongside with book two. I love a good second chance story, just as much as I love a good love story about a parent and his or hers love interest. This book had a beautiful story and characters, and discover more about hem was just part of the deal, because in the end, we loved them too, and felt as we went with them through this journey.
