Hello Friends!
I hope you are all having a lovely Monday and start of the week. Today I bring you a review, to start my own week in a good note.
“The Calling of the Trinity“, written by Brittany Elise, a YA Supernatural Fiction novel, the second book in the series, published in 6th August 2020.
I want to thank Rachel, at Rachel’s Random Resources, Brittany Elise for the eCopy of this book. Thank you for allowing me to join in the fun and being a part of the blog tour with my honest review of the book. Opinions expressed in this review are completely my own.

Synopsis

The fate of the supernatural world lies in the hands of the Trinity. Now that their powers have awakened, they’re one step closer to putting an end to the Darkness surrounding them. Or so they thought…
The death of Wren’s father brings an unsolicited visit from the Alpha Master of the Thornwood werewolf pack, and with it some troublesome news. Wren is faced with a decision that could mean the end of his life if he doesn’t choose wisely.
A mysterious book hidden in a secret room just might have the answers the Trinity is searching for. Perhaps with a little help from the past, a winged guardian, and new friends–the Trinity can persevere and rise against the Darkness.

My Review
This book is the second one in the series, and I have read and reviewed the previous book so I was very curious to read this one and see where the characters and the story continued.
As soon as I started to read the novel, I was taken back to this world. It takes the reader in a new journey with the aftermath of the previous book. I won’t say much because it’s a continuation of the first book and I don’t want to accidentally reveal spoilers.
I loved to see where the characters are now and how they developed with the events in this story. How the relationships are now. We get to learn more about certain characters, because it’s a series and the characters develop, they still have secrets that are being revealed. And I love that the author gave us more information about the characters.
Paranormal is one of my favorite genres and this series grabbed my attention since the beginning. The way this second novel flowed, the plot, the pace, the amount of action… it made it an exciting read.
I may even reread the books in the future to see if I missed any extra detail. This is the kind of series that deserve a reread. Overall, this book was another rollercoaster of emotion, and I loved ever moment reading it.
