I hope you are all doing great. At this moment I’m getting prepared for the wedding so this is a post I schedule for you guys.
I bring you guys a review of “The Holiday Cruise“, written by Victoria Cooke, which is a contemporary romance release last year, 15th September 2017, that’s why today is the book birthday blitz.
I want to thank Rachel, at Rachel’s Random Resources, and Victoria for the eCopy of this book and for allowing me to join in the fun and by being a part of the blog tour with my honest review of the book.
As if it weren’t enough to be cheated on by her husband of ten years, Yorkshire lass Hannah Davis is losing her beauty salon business too. Luckily, her big sister is there to pick up the pieces, but Hannah is desperate to find some independence.
Impulsively, Hannah applies for a spa job…on a cruise ship! Christmas in the Caribbean, springtime in the Mediterranean, what’s not to like? But, despite being in her thirties, Hannah has never done anything on her own before, and she’s terrified.
As the ship sets sail, Hannah has never been further from home…or closer to discovering who she is and who she wants to be.

Victoria Cooke grew up in the city of Manchester before crossing the Pennines in pursuit of a career in education. She now lives in Huddersfield with her husband and two young daughters and when she’s not at home writing by the fire with a cup of coffee in hand, she loves working out in the gym and travelling. Victoria was first published at the tender age of eight by her classroom teacher who saw potential in a six-page story about an invisible man. Since then she’s always had a passion for reading and writing, undertaking several writers’ courses before completing her first novel, ‘The Secret to Falling in Love,’ in 2016

This is the first book I’m reading of Victoria and it was the perfect book for the end of Summer. I really want to travel more in the future and I would love to go on a Cruise so this was great, because it gave me that little taste of traveling, even though it’s only in the books pages.
Hannah was such a relatable character and I would love to have a sister whom I have the kind of character Hannah has with her big sister. But… I only have a younger brother that I love very much. Nevertheless, that bit of sisterly love and connection was awesome and made the characters sound real to me.
Working on a Cruise most bring some challenges, so it was great to follow Hannah new path in working on a cruise. And the pace of the story helped us stay glued to the book and understand the live Hannah now has.
It was a fun book that made me dream about going on this kind of adventure and just enjoy sunbathing. I totally recommend this book to everyone that wants a bit of sunshine and fun times in their cold autumn/winter days.
