Hello Friends!
From reviews of thrillers and crime novels, I’m jumping to a steamy book review.
“Reawakened“, written by Rachael Stewart, is a Contemporary Romance novel, a Standalone published on 1st June 2021 by Harlequin Mills & Boon.
Happy Publication Day!
I want to thank Rachel, at Rachel’s Random Resources, and Rachael Stewart for the eCopy of this book. Opinions expressed in this review are completely my own.

Synopsis

In the latest superhot tale from reader-favorite author Rachael Stewart, business owner Olivia Carmel is embracing her wild side, and PR expert Valentine Boretti has been hired to rein her in. But instead, Olivia is driving him wild…for her!
Seeing a client naked is no way to start a working relationship—especially when that client is stunningly sensual Olivia Carmel. When she invites me to watch her BDSM session in London’s most hedonistic sex club, she thinks I’m a stranger, not a PR expert sent to rein her in.
Watching Olivia awakens a hunger I can’t allow myself to feel. There’s no way I can work with her! But when she crashes her luxury car, I can’t sit on the sidelines and wait for her recklessness to turn fatal. She may kill me when she recognizes me…and when she learns a man sixteen years her junior has been hired to curtail her bad behavior.
I’m here to reawaken Olivia’s careful, rational nature. But instead she’s reawakening my desire…showing me just how well we work together in and out of the bedroom. As we fulfill each other’s naughtiest fantasies, and share our deepest longings, I realize I’m feeling more for my wayward client than lust. But can I convince Olivia to take a chance on love?

About the Author

Rachael Stewart adores conjuring up stories for the readers of Harlequin Mills & Boon and Deep Desires Press, with tales varying from the heartwarmingly romantic to the wildly erotic.
She’s been writing since she could put pen to paper as the stacks of scrawled on A4 sheets in her loft will attest to, and the lovingly bound short stories that her father would run off at work and proudly share out with his colleagues. Thinking it was a pipe dream to be published one day, she pursued a sensible career in business but she was really play-acting, achieving the appropriate degree and spending many years in the corporate world where she never truly belonged. Always happiest when she was sat at her laptop in the quiet hours tapping out a story or two. And so here she is, a published author, her full-time pleasure, a dream come true.
A Welsh lass at heart, she now lives in Yorkshire with her husband and three children, and if she’s not glued to her laptop, she’s wrapped up in them or enjoying the great outdoors seeking out inspiration.

My Review
Rachael Stewart’s books are always fun, exciting and steamy. And I was not disappointed with this one. Just what I needed to balance my reading life.
In this book we follow Olivia and Valentine, a journey of romance, seduction, wildness, and self exploration. The book is not all about the steamy scenes, it’s also about the characters past and their presents and future, it’s about their needs and wants, it’s about what they fear and what they wish for.
To me honest, I haven’t read many books following an older woman & younger man romance. I don’t know what people’s thoughts are about it. I don’t really have a problem with it, since the characters are adults, they can do whatever they please. I quite enjoyed how their relationship developed.
Overall I liked the story a lot. I guess Rachael Stewart can get me to enjoy everything she writes. It’s her writing style, it’s the feels she puts in her stories, is the plots, the characters and their backgrounds. Okay, and I’m incredibly jealous because she always picks amazing names for her characters and I want to do that too!
