Trust In You

Synopsis

Trust In You Cover.jpgFrom the moment she met him, Ella Peterson had questions. As always, though, she’s too shy to ask.

Older and sexy as hell, mysterious Adam Brook soon sweeps sheltered Ella off her feet; but is he as perfect as he appears to be, or is there more to him than he’s telling her?

Ella’s world has already turned upside down after moving from England to rural Kansas. She and her sisters were hoping for a more secure future, but instead find that life can be tough when jobs are scarce and the stakes often higher than anticipated.

When events spiral out of Ella’s control, she learns the person she needs to rely on most is herself and her instincts on who to trust in the future.

It’s just that her instincts are screaming at her to trust Adam; it’s what he tells her that makes that a problem.

My Review

If there is something I absolutely love is romance, and I do find romantic suspense books so exciting. This is one is in that genre and after reading the synopsis I was intrigued.

We follow Ella Peterson in this interesting and thrilling journey as she meets Adam Brook, and all the dangerous moment that happen along the way. I love Ella and seeing her develop throughout the book was good. Then there was Adam that I still don’t know what to say beside “Love him!”. I did enjoy their interactions because of all the sparks I could see between them, as well as the fact they were different but still really complemented each other.

P1070719I loved meeting the characters and getting to know what makes them tick, and what kind of mysteries they have. It wasn’t just the main characters, it was all of them. The interaction were brilliant and fun to read, the relationships dynamics, the family craziness, the bad guys… For me a good book has to have substance and characters I can connect with, and have some realism, and I felt that in this book.

As I venture into the story, reading page after page, going deeper into the danger and mystery that surrounds the plot, I was very focus and couldn’t put down the book. That’s something I like in a suspense novel, the ability to grab my attention. And the way the story was being told, the flow it had, helped with maintaining the emotions and the “sitting at the edge of my seat” feeling, of uncertainty, curiosity and excitement.

Overall, it was a good start of a series and I can’t wait for more books to come, in the series. If you like romantic suspense, you may want to give this book a try.
