How was your day today? It’s the World Wildlife Conservation Day today and I talked to the kids in my classroom about it and they did sculptures of animals and trees, and just had fun being creative. And before we went outside so the could enjoy the good weather and run around. So it was a fun day.
Today I bring you a fun book too. Not related to wildlife conservation. It was a romance book.

Karen Botha was born in Lincolnshire England where her father was in the royal air force. As a young girl she always had a passion for reading and writing. Working most of her adult life in digital marketing didn’t leave her much time to pursue her passion for stories. at the age of 36 She retrained for a reflexologist and started working for herself. This helped her free up more than enough time to enjoy a re-found passion for writing.
Her first novel was inspired by true life experiences and tales from clients. But don’t believe everything you read.
She enjoys traveling rugby and motor sport, this gives her inspiration and ideas for her books.
The first in the new lgbt series is a mm romance novel about a racecar driver and his mechanic.
She currently lives in London with her Husband and rescue dog called Shadow.
This is the third book I have read of Karen Botha and I loved it too. This was a Romantic Suspense and it didn’t fail with the amount of both genres. The author has a way with creating a story and giving us just enough information and mystery that make us want to turn the page.
This story follows three characters since it has different POVs, but mainly it’s about Lucy. And all of the character complex, well written and with secrets, but the most fun about them was their interactions, the friendships, family relationships, the tension, the mystery, and the romance.
The storyline was very exciting, with twist and turns, a fast pace and a good flow that made me wonder about each page and each character. I never really knew were the book was going so that was a positive thing. And I’m not say much about it because it’s a suspense book and you guys should be surprised and enjoy each moment.
Overall, Karen Botha is amazing. She knows how to make us wonder, and relate to the characters as well as being drawn to the storytelling. It was a great start of a series.
